Support OEI in the Great Manchester Swim & Major Series North

Oldham Engineering Installations have recently taken part in the Great Manchester Swim at MediaCityUK in Salford. The team (David Tyrrell, Helana Tyrrell, Stephanie Burt and Gill Roberts) completed the One-mile, open water swimming challenge in under 1 hour.

David Tyrrell is now training for the Great Scottish Swim on 27^thAugust 2016, at Loch Lomond where he plans to complete a Two-mile swim in less than 1 hour 40 minutes.

Our next group task will be on the 16^th October 2016 when OEI will be entering a team for the British Military Fitness “Major Series North”. This is a 10-kilometre mud run complete with several obstacles to test strength, stamina and fitness.

This year OEI are looking to raise money for their local rugby club – Saddleworth Rangers, who are currently in the process of building a new clubhouse for all to enjoy.
