Oldham Engineering Installations are excited to announce that they have been awarded a mechanical installation contract from I-S Solutions Ltd. for the Manchester Airport – Carousel Extension Project.

The project started on Monday 27th April 2015 and will be running continuously for 6 weeks, ~29 days on site. During this time OEI will be completing the Carousel Extension Project. This involves extending and modifying the existing baggage reclaim carousels 2 & 3.

In 2014 Oldham Engineering Installations completed a system modification project at London City Airport, where we extended and enhanced the existing system and carousel. Due to the success of this project and our familiarity with Manchester Airport, we were able to put together a competitive package for the Carousel Extension Project.

The conveyor types to be installed / removed as part of this project include but are not limited to the following:

• Horizontal Queuing & Transport Conveyors.
• Belt Curves & Merges.
• Baggage Reclaim Carousel.

Oldham Engineering Installations have experienced staff, dedicated to ensuring that all projects run smoothly, from applying for passes to on-site activities. As a result of this we were able to obtain passes for our engineers reasonably quickly. This meant that we could start on site soon after order placement; ensuring that our client’s programme started on the scheduled date.
