Oldham Engineering Installations are delighted to announce that they have been awarded a mechanical installation contract from Logistex at Exertis in Burnley.

The project started on Monday 5th September 2016 and will be running continuously for 14 weeks, ~61 days on site. During this time OEI will be completing phases 1 to 5 of the new system, using a team of 9 engineers at peak times in the programme.

Oldham Engineering Installations are looking forward to working with Logistex on our first, fixed-price contract since Coca Cola in Ploiesti during 2008. Our recent 2016 work with Logistex has been on various sites, which have required minor modifications and upgrades. These projects have been installed during day work, meaning that site-specific hourly rates were calculated and labour was supplied on an ad hoc basis.

The conveyor types and equipment, which will been installed at Exertis in Burnley, include but are not limited to the following:

  • • Roller & Belt Conveyors.
  • • Lineshaft Conveyors.
  • • Curves & Junctions.
  • • Diverts & Merges.
  • • AmbaFlex Spiral Conveyor.
  • • Work Benches.
  • • Special Stand Arrangements.

Oldham Engineering Installations are proud to offer our clients the complete on site solution or the opportunity to cherry pick individual services to created the perfect solution for each individual site.  This service allows OEI to tailor our client’s requirements to suit their ever-changing needs.  The service “supply of labour” is often used by our clients at project commissioning stage or if an unforeseen issue has arisen and when there isn’t an intricate timing programme in place.
