Oldham Engineering Installations are delighted to announce that they have been awarded a mechanical installation contract from Vanderlande for the DPD, Cardiff – Parcel Sortation System.
The project started on Monday 18th May 2015 and will be running for 4 weeks, ~24 days on site. During this time OEI will be completing the installation of the Parcel Sortation System, using a team of 7 engineers at peak times in the programme.
We have secured DPD, Cardiff as a result of the successful installation at DPD Edinburgh in 2014. These two projects are almost identical in size and duration and for continuity we are using the same experienced installation team. Discussions are currently underway regarding the potential for 4 more DPD contracts, coming up in the near future.
The conveyor types to be installed as part of this project include but are not limited to the following:
• 70 metre PosiSorter & Safety Netting.
• Chutes.
• Belt Curves & Merges.
• Induct / Transport Belts (Horizontals, Inclines & Declines).
• Roller Curves & Junctions.
